The Office of Engaged Learning Travel Scholarship assists students who are traveling as part of their engaged learning activity.  These funds help students attend conferences where they are presenting their research or offset travel costs associated with undergraduate research or creative activity.  Visit the Engaged Learning Travel Scholarship page for more information.      

The IU Competitive Awards and Research office can help you find funding through nationally-competitive awards to support your research during and after your undergraduate studies. Also, the National Science Foundation funds a variety of research opportunities through its Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. 

IU offers a host of summer research programs, many with funding available.  Check with your department or search "summer research" on the IU homepage.  A few examples are listed below:
